New to matcha? Don’t worry!

Here is where we will teach you how to prepare the most delicious matcha. From the traditional version prepared in the Japanese tea ceremony to the funky creative versions you can find in healthy cafes.

Koicha (thick)

Add 4 bamboo scoops (2 tsp) of SEI Matcha into a bowl

Add 1 Tbsp warm water (70C)

Whisk into a smooth paste

Add another 1 Tbsp warm water (70C)

Whisk again until consistent. A very slow kneading action from left to right and up to down will help you achieve the perfect consistency.

Add 2 bamboo scoops (1/2 tsp) of JAKU matcha into a bowl

Add 1 Tbsp warm water (70C)

Whisk into a smooth paste

Add hot frothy milk.

 

usucha thin matcha

Usucha (thin)

 Add 2 bamboo scoops (1 tsp) of SEI Matcha into a bowl

Add 1 Tbsp warm water (70C)

Whisk into a smooth paste

Add 70ml of warm water (70C)

Mix until consistent.

 

bullet proof matcha

Bullet proof Matcha latte

Add 2 bamboo scoops (1/2 tsp) of WA matcha into a bowl

Add 1 Tbsp warm water (70C)

Whisk into a smooth paste

Combine the smooth paste, 2Tbsp coconut oil and hot milk and blend until frothy and foamy.

* be careful blending near boiling contents in an air-tight container. It can cause severe burns if certain precautions are not taken.
